How ATS Score works
ATS Score measures keyword overlap between your resume text and a job description. It is a diagnostic, not a pass/fail oracle.
What we measure
- Token overlap between JD and resume (normalized text)
- Missing high-frequency JD terms
- Matched skills and phrases you already have
What we do not measure
- Whether a specific employer’s ATS will rank you
- Recruiter subjective preference
- Referral or internal mobility advantages
