Whether you need a book for your beginning student or an extensive repair on your professional instrument, our knowledgeable staff is here to assist you. The business provides the very best instrument rentals, supplies and a wide range of beginner and advanced violins, violas, cellos and basses for sale all meticulously set up by our passionate team of luthiers and players to the exacting standards of the most demanding educators in the metroplex. NEMC, division of Ensemble Performing Arts, supports school music programs nationwide through a network of affiliate dealers and company-owned locations. We provide instrument access through rentals, along with the service and support schools need to keep programs running and accessible for students. Together, Dallas Strings and NEMC connect schools, educators, families, local dealer partners, and lesson programs into one coordinated system. By working across these groups, we help expand access to instruments, instruction, and ongoing participation in music. MISSION OF THE ROLD The Music Education Partnerships Manager is responsible for building and supporting strong local music programs within their territory. As the primary field relationship owner, you work directly with music educators and the store to ensure programs are supported and positioned for growth. You are responsible for managing and growing your territory—prioritizing where to focus, building strong local relationships, and driving participation across rentals and school programs. You help connect school programs, instrument access, and local partners so more students can start music and stay engaged. Through consistent communication, follow-up, and problem solving—both in person and remotely—you make sure educators have what they need and students have access to instruments and the support that helps them succeed. Success in this role is measured by: Territory rental growth Educator engagement and satisfaction Store sales development and performance WHAT YOU OWN 1. School & Educator Relationships Build strong, long-term relationships with music educators, district leaders, and school administrators Serve as the primary point of contact for school music programs in your territory Support orchestra programs through consistent communication and follow-up Make sure educators feel supported, informed, and connected to the resources they need 2. Territory Planning & Field Activity Build and manage a clear territory plan aligned to school calendars and key seasonal moments Maintain a strong presence through regular school visits and ongoing communication (in-person and remote) Plan and support events such as recruitment presentations, instrument trial events, and parent nights Track activity, follow up consistently, and keep clear visibility into your pipeline and priorities Work with internal teams to coordinate instrument delivery, repairs, and service support 3. Service & Program Support Act as the main point of coordination between schools and internal teams Help resolve issues related to rentals, repairs, and equipment in a timely and professional way Ensure programs run smoothly by helping manage logistics and communication Identify and escalate larger school opportunities (such as school-owned instrument purchases) WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE In this role, you build and grow a high-performing territory where music programs are supported, relationships are trusted, and more students are participating in music. You consistently: Grow and protect rental revenue across your territory Build strong, trusted relationships with music educators and become a go-to partner Stay organized, follow through on commitments, and quickly address issues as they come up Create a positive reputation with educators, partners, and internal teams WHO YOU ARE You are a relationship-driven, field-focused professional who enjoys working directly with schools and local partners. You: Build trust through consistency, follow-through, and clear communication Take ownership of your territory and are motivated by growing and improving your territory over time Balance a strong service mindset with a focus on results and outcomes Are comfortable working independently and making decisions in the field Stay organized, manage your time well, and follow through on details Communicate effectively across in-person, phone, and digital channels Enjoy solving problems and helping educators and partners be successful TO JOIN OUR DALLAS STRINGS TEAM We are looking for someone who brings a mix of relationship-building, organization, and a strong understanding of how school music programs operate. You: Have experience working with music educators, schools, or in a relationship-based sales or account management role Understand how school instrumental music programs work, including seasonal cycles and recruitment periods Are comfortable working with orchestral instruments Communicate clearly and stay organized in a fast-moving, field-based role Have experience using CRM tools or are comfortable learning systems like Salesforce or HubSpot Hold a valid driver’s license and are comfortable traveling daily within your assigned territory Are able to lift and transport instruments and equipment (up to 50lbs) Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, Business, or equivalent experience WHY JOIN DALLAS STRINGS & NEMC In this role, you are directly helping build and sustain local music programs in your community—working with educators, partners, and schools to make sure more students can start and stay in music.
