Develop and improve scalable HR processes, policies, SOPs, and workflows. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, (incl. filings, notices, and compliance deadlines), partnering with counsel when appropriate. Maintain and update the employee handbook and other internal documentation. Support leave administration, including applicable federal/state requirements. Employee Life Cycle, Performance Management & Recruitment Own a consistent and professional end-to-end onboarding process, including employment docs, I-9s, tax forms, benefits enrollment, system access, and training. Manage employee changes, transfers, promotions, and other lifecycle events. Manage employee offboarding, incl. final pay, benefits transitions, documentation, system access, COBRA, and support leadership with separations as needed.
