Concrete & Rebar Estimator

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Concrete & Rebar Estimator to prepare accurate and competitive estimates for U.S.-based residential and commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience reviewing construction documents, completing detailed material takeoffs, interpreting structural plans, and estimating concrete and reinforcing steel scopes. This is a remote position requiring excellent attention to detail, sound construction knowledge, and the ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with clients, project managers, and other team members. Location: Remote (Anywhere in Mexico, Peru, Colombia & Dominican Republic) Engagement Type: Independent Contractor Required Qualifications: At least 3 years of hands-on experience estimating concrete and rebar scopes for U.S.-based construction commercial and residential projects. Solid understanding of concrete construction methods, reinforcing steel placement, formwork, and related materials. Familiarity with rebar schedules, bar bending schedules, and reinforced concrete detailing. Proven experience preparing detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates. Proficiency in one or more estimating platforms, such as: PlanSwift Bluebeam Revu On-Screen Takeoff STACK Procore Similar construction estimating software Familiarity with U.S. construction terminology, measurement standards, specifications, and bidding practices. Strong written and verbal English communication skills. Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and consistently meet deadlines. Reliable computer equipment and a stable high-speed internet connection.
