Payment & Refund Policy

1. Payment Methods & Processors

xapply uses two payment processors depending on your location and currency. Payments made in Indian Rupees are processed by Razorpay, which supports UPI, cards, net banking, and other Indian payment methods. International payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as Merchant of Record for supported international transactions. By subscribing, you agree to the applicable processor's terms and handling of your payment data. We do not store your full card details on our servers.

2. Billing Cycle & Renewal

Subscription plans are billed on a recurring basis (for example, monthly or annually) as shown at the time of purchase. Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. We will send you a reminder before your subscription is about to renew. You are responsible for ensuring your payment method is valid to avoid service interruption.

3. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account billing or subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Until then, you retain access to all paid features. We do not provide partial refunds for the unused portion of a period after cancellation. If you cancel and later resubscribe, you will be charged at the then-current price.

4. Refunds

Subscription payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If you believe you have been charged in error, including a duplicate charge or a technical failure preventing use, contact us at support@xapply.ai within 7 days of the charge with your account email and a brief explanation. Approved refunds are processed through the original payment processor and may take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement.

5. Failed Payments

If a payment fails (for example, expired card, insufficient funds), we may retry the charge. We will notify you by email and may temporarily restrict access to paid features until payment is successful. If the issue is not resolved, we may cancel your subscription after a reasonable number of retries. You can update your payment method in your billing settings at any time.

6. Pricing & Plan Changes

We may change subscription prices or plan features from time to time. Price changes will apply at your next renewal after the change; we will notify you in advance. If you do not agree to the new price, you may cancel before the renewal date. Continued use after renewal constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Promotional or introductory pricing may not apply on renewal unless stated.

7. Invoices & Receipts

Invoices and payment history are available from your billing or subscription page after you subscribe. You may download or request copies for your records. For tax or accounting questions, contact us at support@xapply.ai.

8. Currency & Taxes

All prices are displayed in the currency applicable to your region at the time of purchase. For Indian users paying in INR via Razorpay, applicable GST may be added at checkout as required by Indian law. For international users paying via Dodo Payments, Dodo Payments acts as Merchant of Record and handles applicable VAT, GST, sales tax, or similar taxes in supported jurisdictions. Your bank statement may show Razorpay or Dodo Payments as the payment processor.

9. Payment Data Retention

Payment method details are stored securely by Razorpay or Dodo Payments and are not stored on xapply servers. Transaction and invoice records are retained as needed for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, dispute handling, and legal compliance.
