Staff QA Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Staff QA Engineer I based in Brazil. As a Staff QA Engineer I, you will play a strategic role in shaping software quality across engineering teams. You will combine advanced manual and automated testing expertise with emerging AI and agentic testing technologies. The role focuses on building scalable quality strategies, improving test coverage, and increasing engineering efficiency through intelligent automation. You will design and govern AI-assisted testing workflows, including MCP-based solutions, while establishing standards for safe and reliable adoption. Working closely with Engineering, Product, Platform, and MLOps teams, you will influence quality practices across the software development lifecycle. You will also mentor engineers and communicate technical risks and quality insights to senior stakeholders.
