Staff AI Cloud Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Staff AI Cloud Engineer based in United States. This is a senior technical leadership role focused on raising engineering standards across AI, cloud, infrastructure, and software systems. You will combine hands-on engineering with architectural leadership, helping multiple teams design, build, and operate scalable production platforms. The role offers the opportunity to shape engineering practices, establish practical technical guardrails, and guide complex system-design decisions. You will work closely with Engineering Managers and senior engineers while remaining deeply involved in production code and technically challenging initiatives. A major focus will be building and operating modern AI systems, including model integration, orchestration, retrieval, evaluation, and monitoring. You will also help improve reliability, security, CI/CD, observability, and developer experience across the engineering organization.
