Software License Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Software License Manager based in the United States. The Software License Manager will lead enterprise-wide software asset management within a complex and highly regulated Department of Defense environment. You will shape how software is purchased, governed, tracked, optimized, and reported across a large technology landscape. The role combines licensing expertise, compliance management, vendor relations, financial optimization, and strategic IT governance. You will provide visibility into software deployments, usage, entitlements, costs, and contractual obligations across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. The position offers significant influence over enterprise technology investments, risk management, and software lifecycle strategies. You will collaborate with senior leaders, procurement teams, vendors, cybersecurity stakeholders, and technical teams to drive measurable efficiencies.
