Senior Technical SR&ED Writer (Software Focus)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Technical SR&ED Writer (Software Focus) based in Canada. This is a fully remote opportunity for a technically strong writer who understands both software development and Canada’s SR&ED framework.You will take ownership of technical claim narratives, turning complex R&D work into clear, rigorous, and CRA-compliant documentation.The role involves working directly with CTOs, developers, engineers, and other technical stakeholders to uncover technological uncertainties, experimentation, and advancements.You’ll work across areas such as machine learning, cloud infrastructure, embedded systems, and enterprise software.Success requires a combination of software expertise, exceptional writing, strong investigative skills, and the ability to manage multiple client deadlines.You’ll collaborate with project and financial teams to connect technical narratives with eligible expenditures and ensure claims are well supported.This is an opportunity to have immediate ownership and client impact while growing toward a senior advisory or technical leadership path.
