Senior Mortgage Underwriter

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Mortgage Underwriter based in India. This is a remote opportunity at the intersection of mortgage underwriting, fintech, and AI-powered lending technology.You will apply your underwriting expertise to continuously test and improve digital mortgage products used to support lending decisions.The role combines hands-on analysis of borrower documentation with product testing, quality validation, and subject matter expertise.You’ll work extensively with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, and VA guidelines to ensure underwriting logic is accurate and compliant.Your insights will directly influence product enhancements, new features, and the reliability of automated underwriting workflows.You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Sales, and other cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.This role is ideal for an experienced mortgage professional who enjoys using industry expertise to shape better lending technology.
