This is a hands-on engineering opportunity focused on developing innovative structural hardware for the growing mass timber industry.You will contribute across the full product lifecycle, from identifying technical and market needs to concept development, prototyping, testing, and validation.The role combines structural engineering, physical experimentation, CAD, technical analysis, and practical product design.You will work on real components and connection systems, translating test results and engineering insights into commercially viable solutions.Success requires balancing structural performance, manufacturability, installation, cost, quality, and real-world construction requirements.You will collaborate with engineers, operations teams, manufacturers, laboratories, universities, and other technical partners.This remote position, based in British Columbia, offers the opportunity to directly influence the next generation of mass timber connection technology.
