FOIA/Privacy Act Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a FOIA/Privacy Act Specialist based in United States. This role supports federal information-access and privacy programs within a U.S. government environment.You will independently manage FOIA and Privacy Act requests from intake through final resolution.The position combines legal and regulatory analysis, records review, redaction, case management, and stakeholder coordination.You will handle complex requests and appeals while applying statutory exemptions, regulations, policies, and relevant case law.The role also contributes to reporting, process improvement, workload management, and program compliance.Success requires exceptional accuracy, sound judgment, strong communication, and the ability to manage deadlines with limited oversight.This is a fully remote, mission-focused opportunity with no routine travel requirements.
