Director of Preconstruction

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director of Preconstruction based in the United States. This leadership role will own the critical commercial and operational work that takes projects from award through a successful start of execution. You will establish disciplined sales-to-delivery handoffs, strengthen contract outcomes, and reduce commercial and execution risk before projects reach NTP. The role partners closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams across engineering, procurement, finance, project management, and operations. You will also lead subcontractor strategy, including sourcing, pricing, negotiations, and selection. By creating clear readiness standards and structured risk management, you will help protect margins and improve delivery predictability. The ideal candidate brings strong commercial judgment, contract expertise, and the ability to drive alignment across complex project environments.
