Position Overview The @Vote Campus Ambassador serves as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of assigned campuses while also expanding @Vote’s reach by bringing new university partners into the program. Ambassadors continue to support and manage the relationships they help build, ensuring every campus has the resources, guidance, and encouragement needed to successfully engage students in voter registration efforts. The ultimate goal of this role is to help campuses register more students to vote by building strong partnerships, increasing student engagement, and supporting successful voter registration initiatives throughout the academic year. Ambassadors are encouraged to grow their portfolio by introducing approximately 3–5 new university partners each month through networking, referrals, and campus outreach. Primary Responsibilities Relationship Management Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned campuses, as well as any new partners you bring to @Vote. Build meaningful relationships with Student Body Presidents, Vice Presidents, and other campus leaders. Conduct regular check-ins with assigned partners. Celebrate wins and recognize incentive program milestones. Maintain strong communication throughout the academic year. Represent @Vote at meetings, conferences, and speaking engagements as needed. Encourage and support partners in reaching their voter registration goals. Campus Growth Identify and recruit new student government partners. Leverage personal networks and campus connections to introduce new schools to @Vote. Collaborate with the team on outreach strategies and referrals. Grow your portfolio by bringing approximately 3–5 new university partners each month, expanding @Vote's ability to register voters on college campuses. Partner Success Help each school successfully execute its partnership by: Tracking activation goals. Monitoring engagement. Encouraging participation. Identifying schools that need additional support before they fall behind. Helping partners maximize scholarship and incentive opportunities. Supporting campuses in planning and executing successful voter registration initiatives that increase student participation. Partnership Support Assist partners by coordinating: Graphic design requests. Social media graphics. QR code materials. Giveaway ideas. Promotional materials. Campus event planning support designed to maximize voter registration efforts. Resource Coordination Submit requests to the appropriate internal teams. Ensure partners receive requested materials. Follow up on outstanding requests. Communicate timelines and expectations. Reporting Maintain accurate records of: Weekly partner updates. Campus activity. Activation progress. Upcoming events. Partner needs or concerns. Success stories. Estimated voter registration impact and campaign outcomes when available. Internal Communication Attend: Weekly Ambassador Team Meeting. One-on-one check-ins with Sloan as needed. Weekly Expectations Each week, ambassadors will: Check in with every assigned campus. Respond to partner messages within 24 hours. Track activation progress. Submit graphic and resource requests. Attend the weekly team meeting. Share one campus success story or partnership update. Conduct outreach to prospective partner schools. Help partners identify opportunities to register more students throughout the semester. Time Commitment Responsibilities include: Weekly partner outreach. New partner outreach. Team meeting. Success Metrics @Vote Campus Ambassadors will be evaluated based on: Partner activation and participation. Overall civic engagement impact across assigned campuses. Partner responsiveness and communication. Consistency of weekly check-ins with assigned campuses. Partner retention and overall satisfaction. Timely completion of partner requests and follow-up. Strength and quality of relationships built with campus leaders. Growth of their campus portfolio through new university partnerships. Successful recruitment and onboarding of new campus partners. Overall contribution to expanding @Vote’s national campus network.
